I feel at home in political science, IR and political sociology. I am interested in topics related to peace and conflict, gender, and development, mainly with a regional focus on Africa.

In my teaching, I strive for a participatory approach, constructive learning atmosphere, low hierarchies and approachability. And I always give feedback to students’ writing :-)
